Living across the border from Germany does have its benefits -
You do get your GST/VAT back on goods purchased over there if tyou get a form stamped - and if it is a lot that you paid, then you are quids in - even if you have to pay the 8% VAT in CH.
So, my car is going in for a service next Tuesday - on a rekkie to check out the VAG Service Centre in Binzen (as I could get my VAT back off the service) I spotted this Type 181 by VW. This was the model that MB16 from 2008.
It is lovely to see a MB in real life - this one was mint.
